Make sure the glass surface is completely clean using ExoForma Glass Cleaner or similar product. It is also recommended to clay bar the glass for best results. The smoother the glass is before application, the longer ExoForma Glass Sealant will last. If you rub a microfiber towel across the surface of the glass and you can feel it sticking, then that is a sign that using a clay bar could improve your results.
Pour several drops of ExoForma Glass Sealant onto a a microfiber applicator pad. Working in straight lines, from top to bottom, apply Glass Sealant to the desired area. Once applied, wait 60 seconds and then immediately wipe clean with a fresh microfiber towel.
If you wait longer than 60 seconds before removing the product, it will become more difficult to remove. Make sure the product is completely removed to avoid having any foggy spots in your glass. If you do notice that you missed a spot that has started to fog, you can use a glass cleaning product to remove it if it has been less than an hour since you applied. If you notice a foggy spot a significant amount of time after you applied, then you will need to reapply over top of that area, breaking it back down, this time ensuring that you completely remove the product after 60 seconds.
Note: The longer the product is left on the surface, the harder it becomes to remove. On a windshield, it may be easier to do half at a time.
There are many factors that contribute to the longevity of ExoForma Glass Sealant such as weather conditions, how often you drive, how much you use your wipers and the condition of your wiper blades. Typically you can expect ExoForma Glass Sealant to last 3-4 months with a single application.
It is recommended that after applying, you allow ExoForma Glass Sealant at least 4 hours before it comes in contact with water. It is also recommended that you avoid using your wipers for the first 24 hours.
When applying ExoForma Glass Sealant, it is very important that you completely wipe it off until the window is crystal clear. If you happened to miss a spot, you may be able to remove it using a glass cleaning product. If it has been there more than a few hours, then your best option will probably be applying more glass sealant over top of the foggy area. This will cause the product to brake back down. Just make sure you completely wipe the product off the second time around.
Goes on easy and does what is promised. The rain beads and slides off the windsheild with ease and makes driving in the most powerful downpour a pleasure. Will buy more.
this stuff works better than expected 1000 mile road trip threw heavy rains barely used my wipers great product
Used on wife’s renegade Said rain just glides right off
works great and last a long time
Easy application, works great in the rain, even tighter beads than Rain X.
The Glass Sealant was not difficult to apply according to the directions. However, after waiting the indicated time and wiping with a clean microfiber cloth, the windshield seemed oily (like silicone spray). After waiting another couple minutes and wiping with another clean microfiber cloth, the smears and oiliness lessened. The product did not help much with rock chips and pits regardless of size.
