Questions:
- How long does Tire Shine last?
There are many factors that contribue to the longevity of a tire shine product such as weather, driving conditions, shape of the tire, method of application, and how well the tire was cleaned before application. However, we can assure you that ExoForma Tire Shine will last at least twice as long as the water-based tire shine products you find at auto supply stores. An application can last anywhere from 2 weeks (in the worst conditions) to 2 months with regular daily driving.
- Will ExoForma Tire Shine dry rot my tires?
No it will not. It is a common misconception that all solvent based tires will cause dry rot. This is because in the past, other companies used a chemical called hexane in their tire dressings and that hexane would damage tires over time. ExoForma Tire Shine is 100% hexane free.
- Will this product sling on the side of my vehicle?
If applied correctly, driving will not cause ExoForma Tire Shine to sling. Be sure you allow the necessary drying time for each method of application. It is also important to make sure you don't have any excess Tire Shine sitting in your tread blocks. That is the most common area to get slinging from.
- Can this be used on white wall tires?
Absolutely. Nothing looks worse than a dried and cracked white wall. ExoForma Tire Shine has safe ingredients that won't cause any damage to the white wall.
- Can ExoForma Tire Shine be used on trim?
ExoForma Tire Shine can be used on some trim. Since the product is solvent based, if there is standing water on it, it will show a sort of rainbow appearace. For that reason, we suggest not using it on flat trim or truck beds but it can be used on trim across the bottom of your vehicle.
