It is recommended that you wear gloves during application to ensure the product does not get on your hands.
1. Prep the surface you intend to restore by thoroughly cleaning and drying it.
2. Tape off any adjacent chrome or painted areas. If you happen to get any product on a painted or chrome area, make sure to wipe it off immediately with a microfiber towel.
3. Dab several drops of ExoForma Black Plastic and Trim Restorer onto the applicator and apply a thin, even coat to the platic or trim piece. Let the product sit on the surface for 5 minutes.
4. Wipe off any excess product and let cure for 4-6 hours before exposing restored surfaces to any water or moisture.
Depending on the condition of the plastic or trim that was restored, you may need to repeat steps 3 and 4 again to achieve the desired results.
No, since this product contains black dyes, you should only use it on a surface that you want to be black.
Since Black Trim Restorer contains black dye, it will last much longer than other products on the market. As the dye soaks into the trim, it permenantly add a dark finish that won't wash off.
Trim Restorer will not provide any protection. It is strictly for restoring the trim to a rich, black color.
No, not at all. However, beware of other products on the market that contain solvents that under the light from the sun, will cause your trim to ultimately fade faster even though I makes it appear nicer when you first apply.
This products is great will ordering more!!
Absolutely amazed with your product. I’ve tried almost every trim restorer out there. Most of them work temporarily and fades right back. The truck is 19 years old and in great shape, except the trim. Now the trim looks as good as the rest of the truck. You got a new regular customer.
works great on smooth plastic and trim, looks great
Very good product will definitely buy again
wonderful product. It really brought my plastic trim back to life.
It worked very well I was surprised it took the plastic end caps on the bumper of my 20 year old Jeep from faded grey back to the original black
